We traveled with our entire family which was composed of six adults and five children. I had made reservations months before our arrival. The family rooms were wonderful and the staff really outdid themselves making my family comfortable. They also suggested a fantastic resturant which was in walking distance. The town of Detmold is very welcoming. more

We just spent several nights at this hotel. It is centrally located in a town that is an undiscovered gem in Germany, off the usual tourist track but full of things to do and see.
