What a lovely place Ruthern Valley is, we had a lodge over October half term, which was very clean and comfortable. It was a great base for getting out both to the beach and to the Eden project. Bitterly disappointing for a number of reasons. We booked on appearance (exterior only) of the lodges on the website and the numerous awards mentioned on the website. Surroundings are lovely - the awards are for this I assume - but the accomodation was very poor. The lodge smelt strongly of damp and there was mould in the bathroom and kitchen.... more
