Same procedure as always for me. I read the reviews, try a hotel out and realise that "great location" means "extremely loud traffic noise" This hotel is awful for that. Probably the location of the Airotel hotel is one of the best things going for it. Very close to the American Embassy, just off main road and opposite nice appartement buildings. Although they state on line that rooms are equipped with trouser press and iron & iron board, when I arrived, they informed me that there's no such a thing and the only option is to give my clothes for ironing. Of course, they charge 5 Euros for pants (not slacks, the docker ones) and 4 Euros for a polo shirt.... more

Lucked out for sure. Booked a regular room at a great rate and got the executive suite! Location right on the metro line to the airport, 2 stops to syntagma, so close to the main attractions. Good place. more

Compared to another larger hotel, we stayed in Athens, this business hotel was more quiet and confortable. The hotel although it is difficult to locate it at first, once found you realise it is in an excellent location. The staff greet you in a beautiful decorated lobby. Spent 4 nights in May with my wife in the Airotel Alexandros and I can really say it is a great hotel. Close to many of the sights and very close to the metro and other transports.
