Seven Bridges Hotel is a 300 year old charming canal house at the beautiful confluence of two canals in the historic heart of Amsterdam. Character and atmosphere are created by individually decorated stylish rooms: precious antiques from Baroque, Louis XVI, Empire, Biedermeier to Art Deco, from Sotheby's and Christie's; oriental carpets on wooden floors; handcrafted marquetry furniture - mirrors, tables, beds by a Dutch artisan. Welcome to charm, sophistication and a beautiful ambience inside and outside. The hotel now has AIR CONDITIONING - in all but the "cool" rooms 3 and A. more » « less

Had a room 6 overlooking the canal. Aside from some scaffolding being set up outside our window on our last morning, the stay was perfect. Easy to get around town both walking and with the trams. Breakfast was served on a large tray each morning and we enjoyed the canal view while eating in or PJ's Will definitely go back... more

This was my first trip to Amsterdam and I was not sure what to expect. Even though it was only two nights, I was very impressed with the City and especially the Seven Bridges Hotel. Gunter and his staff were very helpful and made my stay very pleasant. Breakfast in my room was amazing (see my picture). My room overlooked... more

My husband and I booked the Seven Bridges Hotel for our stay in Amsterdam after reading all of the wonderful reviews on Trip Advisor. Let me tell you - they were right! From the moment we approached the hotel on foot along the Reguliersgracht, I knew we'd found something special. The location is wonderful. It's on a quiet tree-lined canal,... more

Just returned from this wonderfully friendly and well situated hotel and now I can see why it has consistently been awarded great reviews on here. We booked Apartment B which is a couple of doors away from the main hotel and found it to be very clean and comfy and overall great value for money - Amsterdam hotels are, in... more

This hotel is perfect for the traveller who enjoys hotels that are a bit different. The Seven Bridges is ideally situated near enough to the centre of Amsterdam for easy access, but also far away enough from the crowds. We enjoyed our lovely breakfasts brought to our room, and managed to survive the climb up 3 flights of steep stairs... more

My son and I have just returned from a two night break in Amsterdam. It was a most enjoyable short break made all the better by staying at the Seven Bridges. A lovely small hotel right on the canal. We stayed in Room 8 - a large room on the second floor with two double beds. We had a small... more

There hotel is truly a rare gem. From check in to check out they made every step of my stay truly a vacation! From securing opera tickets, to suggesting excellent restaurants and making... more

Location - Service - Style - Value The Seven Bridges succeeds on all counts! Location - On a quiet canal just outside of the heart of the city. All of the great attractions are within walking distance. And when you need it, a choice of trams are only a block away. Fine dining and the cuisines of the world are... more

We stayed at the Seven Bridges for two nights. This small hotel is located in a quieter section of the city along a canal. We had room 7 which has a canal view. Saturday night can be a little noisy as there is a "Coffee Shop" two doors down. The horses also go up and down the cobbled streets to... more

If you don't want a good location on a pretty, quiet canal, generous breakfasts brought by friendly hosts to your spacious high-ceilinged room (#5) and large bathroom with a shower that meets husband's high standards of spray and temperature, then this isn't the place for you. Only people wanting perfect decor and communal breakfasts to meet fellow travelers will be... more
