Stayed for 3 nights in Nov 06. Hotel is well located opposite the conference centre and the German railway ststion (not the Swiss one - be careful). Stayed here about 10 days ago. Not really a dump, but now that great, either. It would be really conveniently located if you had business at the BaselWorld watch and jewelry show, which was set to run just across the street, I guess.
