I just returned from a week in Florence. I have stayed at Il Guelfo Bianco many times and each time it is harder to leave. Wonderful service, comfortable beautiful rooms, lovely new bathrooms and interesting artwork everywhere. They serve a great breakfast. Located close to all the important sites. Priced competitrively, I highly recommend you try it more

My friend found this hotel on the TripAdvisor site. It is a small hotel but it has a lot of old world charm. Every one of our rooms was different and our rooms in the back were very quiet. Il Guelfo Bianco offers old world charm but with all the modern amenities, ie. large rooms, flat screen TV's, mini-bar and great tiled bathrooms with tubs.
