This is a wonderful little pensione in a quiet street, It is owned by an elderly couple that don't speak English but one gets by ;o) It's situated in the middle of the old Las Letras neighbourhood near Plaza Santa Ana which has been converted into a pedestrian area. I spent 9 days in this wonderful place. The hostel is very clean and nice, they clean the rooms everyday. The owners are extremely nice and helpfull. The room has everything one needs, and it's very practical and spreads a good mood. Loved staying in Hostal Jaen, next time I'm going to visit Madrid, I'll stay there for sure again... more

This hotel is located in a great area: right near the Prado, but in a warren of streets with a nice neighbourhood-y feel.
