When we arrived we were greeted with the builders doing major improvements within the hotel which we were not pre-warned about, we had numerous builders with a universal room key letting themselves into our room at all hours when they should have been going next door. Stayed for 2 nights in Petit Londres Palace in May 2008. This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Madrid. It is only a very short walk to both Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol Plaza. Very happy with our choice. more

The hotel was hard to find as it was hidden within the shopping square, but it was pretty much a central location...to all of Madrid! Two train stations located within blocks of the hotel, great for sight-seeing on your own. The rooms were modern - the showers were a bit confusing, but had hot water and good pressure.
