As other reviewers have indicated, this is not the Ritz experience most of us are used to. Decor is dated, rugs seem ancient, the overall feeling is very heavy. We just returned from a delightful 8-day stay at the Madrid Ritz. Reception was welcoming, efficient, and very gracious in giving us an upgrade as they had the availability.
