Booked the hostel, then cancelled as they could not meet our room requirements (numbers) called them TWICE and were assured our booking was cancelled, then discovered they put the payment through anyway!! received an email telling us there was no record of our call (even though we could provide the name and nationality of the girl we cancelled with!) they... more
This was my first time staying at a hostel. If you are looking for a quiet, cozy, comfortable stay, this is NOT the place for you. If you are looking to meet people, party and have crazy stories to tell your friends back home, hurry up and make your reservation at Kabul. Kabul reminds me of the dorm in college.... more
My friend and I stayed at the Kabul Hostel last Thursday and Friday night, after reading many enthusiastic recommendations on sites such as Trip Advisor, Hostel Bookers, Gomio etc. We stayed in an 8 bed dorm, on a very busy weekend (the weekend of the Sonar Festival, and the Summer Solstice), and despite the fact that the room was tiny,... more
I LOVE THIS PLACE! Group of 3 girls went to celebrate end of exams. Had an incredible time. The hostel is great. Clean, safe and very friendly. Was in a 4 man room which was a little small but what do you expect?! Very cheap beer which was good for those of our group who liked the beer but not... more

The rooms were really nice, and the bathrooms were always clean, and the showers hot! It was in an excellent position, although was about a half hour walk to the beach. But with so many things to do... more
this was the most fun i had on my whole trip! awesome people, its party party party (this IS barcelona)!! at first i got the impression everyone was a bit snobby (very high school) but if you actually start talking to someone youll find everyone is friendly!!! the internets decent, dont try at busy times though, long line. free breakfast... more
Kabul Hostel is in Placa Reial, which is right off of Las Ramblas and close to the Columbus statue by the coast. It's an ideal location... it's close to the metro stops on Las Ramblas, near Placa Catalunya and the shops all around there and Barri Gotic. My friend and I were only there for 3 days so we didn't... more
I stayed at almost all the more well known hostels (Flying Pig, 3 Ducks, Balmers, etc) and Kabul was my favourite. It has a reputation for being a real fun, friendly place, so that is just the kind of people it attracts. Though there are characters. My friends and I were there for 8 days. By the end, we were... more
