Stayed in this hotel in early April. Online booking and requested - early check in, high floor (on the grounds that if there are views you might as well enjoy them) and non smoking. I stayed at the Calderon for 2 nights a few weeks ago and was very happy with the hotel. We had a room on the 10th floor with an excellent view of all of Barcelona. Nice, clean and fairly new hotel, good location (central) and quiet. Stayed for few nights in january, wasn't fully booked (i assume)... because the sauna and other facilities wasn't occupied the time we stayed there. Sauna for 2/3 persons, with outside shower, men /women divided. Swimmingpool on the rooftop. Rooms are clean, tidy , as all the NH hotels. more
