Great way to spend two hours and easily more! Lots to see. Well worth the visit. This aquarium must come close to having nearly all of Australias marine life within it. The Sydney aquarium was fun. We saw platypus, fairy penguins and the Great Reef exhibit. The seal & shark exhibits are great with underwater tunnels that get you right next to and under very large sharks, rays and even a Shark-ray (that was different and beautiful). Being an enthusiast of Marine Creatures and life under the sea, I find my visits to Sydney Aquarium very educational as well as very exciting and fun. They have wonderful exhibits such as Fairy Penguins, Crocodiles, Platypus', many fish species and many more. My personal two favourite exibits to see are the Sharks and Rays and of course the Seals.... more

i have always loved aquariums... you really get intouch with the underwater wonderland, Sydney is the best i have been to. The staff were friendly and the interaction for kids was great. more

This has to be the best aquarium we have ever visited! We saw just about every type of sea life there is to see.....we even found Nemo! My 13 year old son adored this trip, there is just so much in there - well worth the money! more

we have visited the Sunshine Coast aquarium several times (we live in QLD ) and I have also seen the one in Auckland....the Sydney Aquarium is by far the best. we all had a great visit especially our two year old. I wouldn't say its cheap but it is well worth visiting. more
