I would agree with other reviews about the distance from the hotel into Girona. There is no public transport after early evening, and the taxi drivers rip you off, with there being anything up to 20 euros of a difference between one journey and the next. Lovely little hotel, very close to Girona airport, perfect for an overnight stay or weekend break. It is located on the outskirts of Girona itself, so it WON'T do if you need to be walking distance from the City's sights, but as a stopover if you are flying out of Girona airport it's ideal. Myself and my partner have just returned from a 1 night stay in fornells park and my advise to anyone is to bypass this hotel and stay in a hotel in Girona itself, as taxis in and out of the town (round trip) will cost you a total approx 25 to 40 euros(depending on the taxi driver)!
